The Whitney Wildcats are based in Cerritos, California. With nearly 40 players compromising the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams, boys tennis is a major part of Whitney High School.
Varsity Tennis is situated at the Cerritos Tennis Center at Don Knabe Regional Park. The Junior Varsity Team is situated at Cerritos Park East

The team secured a third place finish in a competitive league, earning them a spot in the CIF playoffs. After convincingly taking out their first round opponents Maranatha, they headed to Damien High School where their season unfortunately came to an end.
The Wildcats look to bounce back in February 2019.

2017-2018 Season Recap
The Wildcats' season was marked by teamwork and growth. The team had many new and younger players, but was able to achieve great success. Freshman Brandon Chen and Matthew Pham led the team in the Singles matches. The two senior-junior partnerships of Sharan Raghavan/David Ahn and Daniel Lin/Vasanth Madhavan were strongholds in the Doubles matches. The two Doubles teams finished 3rd and 4th overall in the Academy LeagueThe team secured a third place finish in a competitive league, earning them a spot in the CIF playoffs.
